I was a little worried about this book because it had mixed reviews and I wasn't sure if it would live up to the first book.

But it surprised me by being even better than the first one. I loved it because I'm a sucker for secret relationships. If you like secret relationships you'll like this book.

There are cute romance scenes and I liked it when Skylar liked who she was with someone. (Not saying who though it's obvious.)

And that ending was just so cute! I read it almost in one setting. I am considering buying it since I got it thanks to KU. My review isn't a long as the other one, but it still holds a spot in my heart.

I love these characters and hope there will be a third book even with different characters. There were some good quotes in there as well.

If you're looking for a light read before reading something heavy or even fantasy these two books are a perfect choice. And this is pretty clean still, though there are mentions of sex. But it still isn't that bad as Fifty Shades would be.

Oh, I also liked all of the surprising friendships that started in this book. This was definitely another five star read for me.

All I Ask by Nicole McLaughlin

All I Ask sounded and looked like my type of romance book when I first read the summary and saw the beautiful cover. I even tried to get through more than 30% when I realized it wasn't my type of romance at all. It had a decent plot, though I laughed at the part when the main girl character was actually reading on her phone in a bar. That would be something that I might do. And she got caught by one of her friends. Then the rest of the storyline from there almost won me over, though I couldn't finish it. I might one day, but for now it was just an ok read to me, but it's more for people that like to read any type of romance.

Review: The Golden Lily

The Golden Lily by Richelle Mead My rating: 5 of 5 stars When I recieved this book on my Nook, I couldn't put it down!! I had to know what would happen next, and I read it in about three days. I stayed up until 2 a.m. two nights in a row to read it. The whole book kept you guessing. Sydney had to continue her duty for protecting Jill and the rest of the clan was with her. Her and Adrian got closer, and she seemed to have gotten over her fear of vampires being evil more. I'm not going to give away any spoilers, but this book was aaaaamaaaaaaaaaaazing! I'm currently rereading the Vampire Academy books through Bloodlines so I can catch every detail again. <3 I recommended all of these books to everybody I know! My trainer at work is on the second book of Vampire Academy, and she loves them as well! Give the books a try!
