I really wanted to like One of Us is Lying because it sounded like it was similar to Pretty Little Liars... ( the earlier seasons back before we knew who the real A was.)

There was four people in the group and somebody was supposedly the killer. It sounded like a mystery that was right up my alley, and it was a different type of YA book.

It seemed too much like Pretty Little Liars to me though, and I'm sadly actually still a little mad about how that show ended... so my personal feelings towards that show probably got in the way of this book. I ended up going from chapter 6 to the last few chapters to find out who this person was supposed to be. I think I know who it was based off of those chapters, but I'm still not saying. It didn't surprise me who it was because it was one of the people who I thought it was. I guess all of the Pretty Little Liars episodes got me good at this kind of thing! (That last episode though...ok, sorry. This is off topic.)

This book is a DNF because my attention got lost somewhere and it's probably just not the right time for me to read it because of my feelings for the other thing I'm not going to mention. I really wanted to like this book.

The Museum of Us by Tara Wilson Redd My rating: 2 of 5 stars I received The Museum of Us by Tara Wilson Redd from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. It doesn't impact my review in anyway. When I first received The Museum of Us by Tara Wilson I thought it was going to be completely different. The writing style wasn't bad, but the plot ended up not being for me at this time. I ended up not finishing it at 22 percent because I couldn't get more into it, but maybe it'll be my cup of tea another time. Review: Withering Rose

Withering Rose by Kaitlyn Davis My rating: 3 of 5 stars This was not my favorite Beauty and the Beast retelling. It isn't as bad as A Court of Thorns and Roses was to me, but it had certain elements that were similar to that book. Cole also reminded me of Tamlin. The first book was definitely better in this series for me. This one was kind of a "rebound book" since I am trying to get back into a relationship with books again.
