To All the Boys I've Loved Before by Jenny Han is a young adult contemporary romance book. Lara Jean has written love letters to every guy she has loved in her past as a way to let them go. But then one day her letters get sent in the mail and every one of those guys gets their letters.

All right, I have to admit I was a little skeptical about this book because of the reviews on here. I even was almost about to put this book down at around 43 percent, but the characters grew on me, especially Peter. And then there's this amaaaaazing Harry Potter reference scene that happens later on and that really grabbed me because I love Harry Potter and I thought that was so cute. (I'm not saying what it is because I don't want to ruin it for other people. But it's worth sticking it out if the book starts getting boring.

This book is very high schooly like other reviews have said, but that's because it takes place IN high school. The main character acts childish because she IS still a teenager. Teenagers are nowhere near perfect. If you remember how you were like in high school and kind of go back to that time a bit the book isn't really that bad. Nobody is perfect in high school. Everything seems very dramatic in that time and stuff does happen.

Peter and Kitty especially really grew on me. I didn't really like Margot, she especially seemed too much like a "saint" when she judged her sister. And there's some diversity in this book too.

It just takes some time to give To All the Boys I've Loved Before a true chance. I was glad I gave this book a chance after all. I even read it in hardback format! It was a four star read mostly because of how long it took for me to get into it. But I still ended up really liking it in the end.

When I first received The Museum of Us by Tara Wilson I thought it was going to be completely different. The writing style wasn't bad, but the plot ended up not being for me at this time. Review: Withering Rose

Withering Rose by Kaitlyn Davis My rating: 3 of 5 stars This was not my favorite Beauty and the Beast retelling. It isn't as bad as A Court of Thorns and Roses was to me, but it had certain elements that were similar to that book. Cole also reminded me of Tamlin. The first book was definitely better in this series for me. This one was kind of a "rebound book" since I am trying to get back into a relationship with books again.
